What is The Manningham Men’s Shed?

The Men’s Shed program provides the sanctuary of a shed to men of all ages and backgrounds where they can socialise with mates, whilst making or “fixing things”. It aims to fill a gap in men’s lives. The program endeavours to bring positive returns to men and the community and is open to all men in the Manningham areaIt is based in an actual Shed located within the Manningham municipality.

What Happens at The Manningham Men’s Shed?

The Shed is a place where:

Older, skilled men can pass on their skills and knowledge to younger men.
Men of all ages can pursue their interest in woodwork, handcrafts, electronics, mechanics, etc.
Men with disabilities can learn new skills.
Resources can be produced for the benefit of the community.
A place for blokes to meet, chat and have a cuppa!

Days of Operation

The Men’s Shed operates Monday to Saturday.  The core operating hours are 10.00am to 3.00pm. Transport is available to and from the Shed each day at a small cost.
