Exercise group to improve strength and control

In our pilates sessions you will learn a variety of exercises to strengthen your deep abdominal and back muscles.

This group suits people with chronic or recurrent back problems, and is suitable for beginners.

Benefits of pilates include:

  • Improved balance and posture
  • Increased muscle strength and flexibility
  • More efficient body movement.

Pilates is suitable for all ages, women and men. Please note that half of the exercises practiced in the class are floor-based.

COST

$51.80 for 7 sessions

$59.20 for 8 sessions

Payment is required prior to commencement of program with registration.

BOOKINGS AND REFERRALS
Anyone can make a booking to join the Pilates group. Please call (03) 8841 3000 or email mchs@mannchs.org.au

You will need to complete our Group Registration Form if you have not been assessed by our Physiotherapist.

Referrals can be made by phone, fax or email (S2S, Eref).

FEES AND FUNDING
Our fees are set on a sliding scale and are designed to support access for all income levels.

Difficulty or inability to pay will not be a barrier to receiving a service.

Services are offered via a range of different funding streams which have varying requirements.
